Ed founded K.C. Hopps, Ltd in 1993, and has established himself as a dedicated entrepreneur with a passion for community service and business excellence. Over the years, he has served on numerous non-profit boards and is proud to be the Kansas City chapter founder of Folds of Honor, an organization committed to supporting military families. A true adventurer and fitness enthusiast, Ed enjoys biking, golfing, and CrossFit, always seeking new ways to challenge himself. He values quality time with his family and loves traveling to explore new places around the world. As a multifaceted business owner, Ed’s entrepreneurial spirit drives his success across multiple ventures. He has a fondness for Diet Pepsi and Hector’s Tacos, simple pleasures that keep him energized and inspired. Ed’s dedication to his community, his passion for fitness, and his entrepreneurial mindset make him a respected leader and inspiring figure in Kansas City.
Bethany Ferro
Bethany Ferro is a seasoned sales, marketing, and technology professional with over 20 years of leadership experience across the hospitality and food service industries. Bethany is skilled in implementing innovative technology systems and managing cross-functional teams. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Bethany serves on the KRHA Board of Directors, where she contributes her expertise to industry initiatives. She is also actively involved in her community, volunteering at her home church with coffee service and participating in the children's program. Bekah Smith
With 18 years of expertise in the restaurant industry, Bekah specializes in training, progressive employee relations, and retention strategies that drive sales growth. Her background includes national-level corporate training for new venue openings, particularly in entertainment venues. As a seasoned leader with a touch of IT and security knowledge, she has successfully addressed challenges, leading her to excel in restaurant consulting. John Liddell
With 26 years in the hospitality industry, specifically on the technology side, I've cultivated a deep understanding of its intricacies, always seeking innovative approaches to leverage technology in the hospitality business. As an artist, musician, and self-proclaimed creative with a desire to learn, my passion lies in the finality of an answer, which makes solving complex technical issues with creative solutions incredibly rewarding. It's this drive that fuels my enjoyment of the job, consistently pushing me to find elegant resolutions within the unique demands of hospitality tech.

Beyond my professional life, I hold a BS in Business Management, a CompTIA A+ certification, which underscore my commitment to continuous learning and expertise. When I'm not tackling technical challenges, you'll often find me with my daughter, shopping for and listening to vinyl records—a cherished ritual where we bond over our shared love for science and technology. And if you're ever curious, my go-to comfort is a slow-cooked roast paired with a classic Horsefeather.
Kevin O'Brien
Kevin O'Brien is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in accounting, consulting, and investing. He holds a finance degree from the University of Tulsa, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a master's degree from the University of Michigan. Kevin had a CPA license for 8 years, and it is currently inactive. With more than a decade of dedicated restaurant accounting experience, he brings a wealth of expertise to the industry. Outside of his professional pursuits, Kevin enjoys running and playing golf.
Todd Hulse
With over 54 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Todd Hulse brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to every aspect of his work. He holds a degree in Hospitality Management and has dedicated his career to creating exceptional guest experiences at each event he oversees.

Todd's leadership roles include serving as the past president of both the Kansas City Restaurant Association and the Missouri Restaurant Association, where he contributed his expertise on numerous boards and industry initiatives. His dedication to the industry is matched by his love for seafood, which he considers his favorite meal—appreciating the art of doing it right. When he's not working, Todd enjoys spending quality time with his family and escaping to the ocean, embracing the tranquility and inspiration it provides. His commitment to excellence and genuine passion for hospitality make him a respected figure in his field.
Andrea Hulse
With an impressive 46-year career in the hospitality and event industry, Andrea brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every project. Her background in hospitality management, coupled with her certification from the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners (AACWP), underscores her commitment to excellence and professional growth. A passionate "fixer" by nature, Andrea thrives on problem-solving and finding creative solutions to ensure each event is truly remarkable.

Andrea’s favorite cuisine is Hawaiian, a beloved taste that transports her home and evokes fond memories. Hector Lopez has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has dedicated more than 20 years to KC Hopps, starting as a Kitchen Manager and later serving as Facilities Director.

Known for his exceptional culinary skills, leadership, and hands-on approach, Hector ensures flawless event execution and maintains top-tier facilities. Beyond work, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying fit. A trusted mentor and vital leader, Hector exemplifies dedication, excellence, and service.
Darci Kelley
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Darci Kelley has cultivated a deep passion for creating memorable events and exceptional dining experiences. Her lifelong love for restaurants and hospitality was inspired by her parents' enthusiasm for exploring locally owned eateries, a passion she continues to share today. Darci finds joy in building meaningful relationships with clients and assisting them in planning special events that bring friends and families together. Her warm, personable approach ensures each occasion is personalized and unforgettable.
